PTZ Controller software supports Sony VISCA protocol. You can use it to control Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 and EVI D100 PTZ cameras.
1. You need connect Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ camera to a serial port/USB of your computer by a VISCA cable (cross type, RS-232C).
2. Download and run PTZ Controller software.
3. Click menu Setting -> Camera Manager -> New to open Camera Setting panel.
Here select Address, Protocol, Com Port, and Baud Rate for the connected Sony EVI D PTZ camera.
- If only one Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ camera is connected, the Address should be 1.
- If multiple Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ cameras are connected daisy- chain to one serial port, you need add each of the cameras by setting different Address number 1, 2, 3, ….
- If multiple Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ cameras are connected to different serial ports separately, when add the cameras, each Address should be 1.
4. You can also click menu Setting -> Camera Setup Wizard, following the instruction to set up Address, Protocol, Com Port, and Baud Rate for the connected Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ camera.
5. Once the connection is valid, you can control pan, tilt, zoom, preset, and more functions of thePTZ camera with PTZ Controller.
6. You can also set up Custom Function buttons to send command/data to control Sony EVI D30, EVI D70 or EVI D100 PTZ camera, like Power, Bright, White Balance, ect..
